A large fire broke out at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Pakistan, on Saturday, causing all flights to be canceled. Reports say that the fire started when a tire of a Pakistan Army plane caught fire while it was landing. Fire trucks were quickly sent to the airport to try to put out the flames. Because of this incident, the runway was temporarily closed.

A video showing the fire at the airport has gone viral on social media. In the 32-second video, you can see passengers at the airport struggling because of the thick smoke. People in the video can be heard talking about what happened while black smoke keeps rising in the air. Fortunately, there have been no reports of anyone getting hurt or any serious damage.

This is not the first time a fire has happened at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. Last year, on May 9th, a fire started in the ceiling of the immigration counter due to a short circuit. This caused the entire immigration system at the airport to be disrupted. This shows that the airport has faced problems with its safety and infrastructure before.
