Ferrari has launched its new car called the Amalfi, which will replace the Ferrari Roma. The Amalfi is a 2+ coupé with a front-mid mounted V8 engine. This means it has two front seats and small rear seats, and its powerful engine sits between the front wheels and the driver.

The engine is a strong twin-turbo V8. It is based on Ferrari’s famous F154 engine family but has been improved with new turbo settings. This engine produces 640 horsepower, helping the car go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 9 seconds. The car has an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which allows very fast and smooth gear changes. Its power-to-weight ratio is very good at 2.29 kg per hp, meaning the car is both light and powerful.
Design and looks
Ferrari says the design of the Amalfi is minimal and modern. The front has a large air intake and a long, shaped bonnet. The rear has an active spoiler that helps keep the car stable at high speeds. It also has forged wheels and carbon fibre parts, making it look sporty and stylish.
The exterior design has smooth shapes with sharp lines that give it a strong and elegant look. The front does not have a traditional grille. Instead, it has a floating body-coloured wing above a dark band that hides the sensors and headlights. The rear has hidden tail lights that remind people of old Ferraris but with a new style. The back also has a wide diffuser for better aerodynamics. The car's launch colour is called Verde Costiera, which is a shiny teal green inspired by the Amalfi coast’s sea.
Inside the car
The interior has a dual-cockpit layout, meaning it is divided for the driver and passenger. It has a new steering wheel with physical buttons and brings back Ferrari’s famous red start button. There is an integrated central display and easy-to-use controls so that drivers can focus on the road. The cabin uses a lot of carbon fibre and has contrasting stitching, making it feel special. The rear seats are small but can be used to carry extra luggage or travel with kids.
Technology features
The Amalfi has the latest Ferrari technology. It comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard and also has wireless phone charging. The steering wheel, digital display, and a 10.25-inch central screen make driving easy and fun. There is an option for a front lifter system, which raises the car by 40 mm to cross speed bumps easily at speeds up to 35 km/h. For music lovers, there is an optional Burmester premium sound system for an amazing audio experience.
The Ferrari Amalfi is a beautiful and powerful new car. It combines speed, style, and modern technology to replace the Roma. It is designed for people who love sports cars but also want some practicality to travel with family or kids.
