Hatta Festival 2025 Returns with Family Fun & Culture

Hatta is alive with vibrant energy as the 2025 edition of the Hatta Festival kicks off, offering families and visitors a unique mix of cultural, recreational, and community experiences. Running until 28 December along the three-hectare Leem Lake waterfront, the festival combines Hatta’s scenic mountains with engaging activities that appeal to all ages.

The festival, part of the #DubaiDestinations initiative, aims to highlight Hatta’s rich natural and cultural heritage while providing a fun-filled experience for everyone. This year, organizers have focused on inclusivity and diversity, ensuring visitors can enjoy an array of events designed to entertain, educate, and inspire.

Visitors can explore more than 150 workshops, from hands-on arts and crafts to star photography sessions, or immerse themselves in Hatta’s traditional lifestyle with farm tours and outdoor cooking experiences. The event also introduces a mini zoo featuring ponies, gazelles, parrots, goats, and rabbits, offering children a close-up look at friendly animals in a safe and interactive environment.

Entertainment zones are a highlight, with giant board games, a Winter Games Zone featuring bungee jumping, bumper cars, and a human crane challenge, and a Hatta-themed Escape Room that blends teamwork with local heritage. Evening visitors can enjoy glowing art installations on the bridges across Leem Lake, creating a magical atmosphere that showcases the area’s natural beauty.

Local entrepreneurs take center stage through the Proudly from Dubai initiative, with 30 ventures—half from Hatta—showcasing food, desserts, and unique products. The festival also features a Young Entrepreneurs Competition, supporting homegrown talent and promoting sustainable economic growth in the region.

The Brand Dubai Store and Camelicious-sponsored Majlis add to the immersive experience, offering souvenirs and a traditional Emirati space for visitors to relax and connect. On the Main Stage, over 100 live shows and TV episodes by Dubai Media’s Sama Dubai TV entertain an audience of 500, blending cultural performances with family-friendly entertainment.
