Etihad Airways has added its sixth Airbus A350 to its fleet. The new plane arrived this weekend after completing a successful delivery flight from Toulouse, France.
The A350 is known for being a very eco-friendly plane. It is one of the most fuel-efficient wide-body jets in the world. Compared to older aircraft, the A350 produces 25% less CO2 emissions, which is better for the environment. It also makes 50% less noise, which helps reduce noise pollution at airports.

The A350-1000, which is the specific model Etihad has received, is perfect for long flights. This makes it a great addition to Etihad’s fleet, allowing the airline to travel longer distances. This summer, Etihad will start flying the A350 to Atlanta, a new city it will be flying to in North America. This is one of 16 new destinations that Etihad is adding to its route network this year.
