San Francisco, September 27, 2025 – Ethos Technologies Inc., a leading digital insurance platform, has filed for its U.S. initial public offering (IPO) under the ticker symbol “LIFE,” following a strong financial performance in the first half of 2025. The company reported a 55% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching $183.7 million, with net income of $30.7 million.

The IPO marks a major milestone for the insurtech firm, which has rapidly scaled its AI-powered underwriting and digital-first distribution models. Activated policies on the platform surged 70% in H1 2025, reflecting strong consumer demand for simplified life insurance solutions.

Ethos has expanded its network through strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with Protective Life Corporation, which allows consumers aged 20–65 to access term life policies of up to $2 million with guaranteed level premiums. Other key partners include Legal & General America and Mutual of Omaha.

Financial diversification remains a highlight, with Q3FY25 consolidated revenues rising 23.9% quarter-on-quarter to ₹375.68 crores and profit after tax growing 15.6% year-on-year to ₹29.49 crores. Digitally assisted sales alone increased 53.9% to ₹146.4 crores, underscoring the effectiveness of Ethos’s omnichannel strategy.

Institutional investors have shown strong confidence in Ethos’s growth. The company secured a $3.25 million Series A funding in March 2025 led by General Catalyst and 8VC, following prior investments from SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Sequoia Capital, and Accel, each holding stakes exceeding 5%. Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan are managing the upcoming IPO.

With a trailing 12-month revenue of $320 million as of June 30, 2025, Ethos’s trajectory signals potential for continued expansion in the digital insurance space. Analysts note the IPO could accelerate innovation in the insurtech sector by setting a benchmark for AI-driven policy distribution and digital customer engagement.
