Emirates Airline and the DP World Tour have signed a new deal. This means Emirates will keep being the Official Airline and Main Partner of the DP World Tour until 2031. This partnership helps make Dubai a top place for golf and lets people around the world enjoy the sport.
Emirates already supports many DP World Tour golf events in different countries. All these events lead to the big DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, where the best players compete for the Race to Dubai prize.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the head of Emirates Airline, said, “We are happy to be part of golf and help Dubai become a favorite place for both golf fans and top players. Staying in this partnership lets Emirates keep in touch with golf fans everywhere, like in Europe, the US, Asia, Africa, Australia, and here in Dubai.”
Guy Kinnings, the boss of the DP World Tour, is also happy about this new deal. He said, “Emirates has been our partner for many years, and we are very glad they will stay with us until 2031. This deal shows how strong our friendship is and how important the DP World Tour is for golf.”

With this deal, Emirates will keep getting its name and logo shown at many events, have chances to advertise on TV and online, and offer special experiences for fans. Emirates will be an Official Partner for 15 events each season. They will also keep supporting Virtual Eye, a TV feature that shows a 3D map of the golf course and where each player is.
The Emirates Fly Better Moments will also continue, sharing exciting moments from the course on digital channels.
Emirates has been supporting golf for over 30 years. They first became a sponsor in 1989 with the Dubai Desert Classic. In 2009, they became a partner of The Race to Dubai and the DP World Tour Championship. In 2014, they became the Official Airline of the Tour.
Since 2009, Emirates has flown over 800 professional golfers to Dubai for the DP World Tour Championship. Every year, over 60,000 fans come to watch the world’s best golfers play. This partnership helps Dubai stay a key place for golf, brings fans together, and helps the sport grow around the world.
