Emirates is adding more big planes like the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 to some of its popular flight routes. This is because more people want to travel with Emirates to different cities around the world.

From 26 October, Emirates will make these changes:
Milan: Emirates will start a third flight every day between Dubai and Milan. This flight will use a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires: Emirates will fly every day to these two cities with its linked flight EK247/248.
Shanghai: From 20 July, one of the flights (EK302/303) to Shanghai will use the famous Airbus A380. The second flight (EK304/305) will continue with a retrofitted Boeing 777.
Singapore: In winter, Emirates will fly its A380 for the third daily flight between Dubai and Singapore (EK314/315).
Zurich: From 1 February 2026, Emirates will use an A380 for its second daily flight (EK85/86) instead of the Boeing 777. Also, Premium Economy seats will be available on flight EK87/88 with the retrofitted A380 starting from the same date.
Emirates is upgrading its planes with better seats and features. Its engineers are working fast, updating one aircraft every three weeks. Since November 2022, they have updated 60 planes.
On the new Boeing 777, there are First Class suites, Business Class seats, Premium Economy seats, and Economy seats. The A380 also has a Premium Economy cabin with 56 seats. These seats are comfortable for working or relaxing, and they have charging points and small side tables for drinks.
Even though the world is facing many changes, Emirates is working hard to meet the needs of travellers. You can book tickets on emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail stores, or through travel agents. Emirates wants its customers to enjoy a great flying experience every time they travel.
