Elon Musk has again called OpenAI CEO Sam Altman "Scam Altman" in a new comment. Musk used this name while replying to a video of Altman speaking in a US Senate hearing. The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley. It showed Altman giving his statement on May 16, 2023.

During the hearing, Altman was asked if he makes a lot of money from OpenAI. He said, "No. I earn only enough for health insurance. I have no shares in OpenAI." He also said, "I do this because I love it."
Musk and Altman were once partners in OpenAI, but they have had disagreements for many years. Musk has accused Altman of changing OpenAI’s mission and making it more like a business instead of a non-profit. Musk has also called him a "liar" and a "cheater" before.
Recently, Musk and a group of investors offered $97.4 billion to buy the non-profit part of OpenAI, but the offer was rejected. This made the fight between Musk and Altman even worse.
Musk’s latest comments show the deep tension between the two. OpenAI is growing fast with new AI models, while Musk keeps warning about the dangers of AI. Their fight shows a bigger debate in the tech world about who should control AI in the future.
