Abu Dhabi, UAE – 14 January 2026: EDGE Group is participating for the first time in the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026) as a Main Sponsor, highlighting its growing presence in the region and strategic partnership with Qatar.
EDGE’s debut reflects its ongoing engagement with military and security stakeholders in the Middle East, offering a wide range of defence technologies across air, land, maritime, and electromagnetic domains.
Hamad Al Marar, EDGE Managing Director and CEO, said: “Our presence at DIMDEX demonstrates the maturity and breadth of our defence capabilities. We aim to be a long-term partner, providing integrated solutions aligned with regional security priorities.”
In the air domain, EDGE will feature the SHADOW 25 and SHADOW 50 loitering UAVs and the RASH series of precision-guided munitions, along with the THUNDER family of aerial munition guidance kits. These systems are designed for precision strikes, border protection, and force security.
EDGE’s naval display includes the FALAJ 3 and FA400 offshore patrol vessels and the 170 M-DETECTOR, which support surveillance, transport, and maritime operations with a focus on modularity and unmanned integration.
Electro-optics and sensing capabilities on display include the KASHIF 600 gimballed system, MIRSAD NG, MIRSAD R, MIRSAD X surveillance and targeting systems, and the TAWAQ S radar, enhancing situational awareness and detection.
In electronic warfare, EDGE will demonstrate solutions such as BORDERSHIELD autonomous border security systems and GPS PROTECT anti-jamming platforms. Non-lethal technologies from CONDOR and LAHAB Defence Systems, as well as the ZENITH space operations platform, will also be showcased. Land systems include the AJBAN MK2 and HAFEET MK2 vehicles, supporting versatile operational needs.
