Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched the nol Student Package at Gitex Global 2024, in collaboration with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Association. This innovative initiative aims to provide an array of benefits specifically designed for school and university students throughout the UAE, with a significant emphasis on Dubai.
The nol Student Package combines several advantages into a single card, making it a convenient tool for students. With this card, students can enjoy a remarkable 50% discount on all public transport services operated by RTA, facilitating affordable travel across the city. Moreover, the card offers discounts of up to 70% on various local and international brands, enhancing shopping opportunities both in the UAE and abroad.
A unique feature of the nol Student Package is its integration with an international student identification card. This means that students will receive a personalized identification card alongside their nol card, simplifying their access to student discounts and benefits worldwide. The nol Student Package can be easily requested through the nol Pay app, ensuring that students can receive it at their designated address without hassle.

The RTA had previously signed an agreement with the ISIC Association during the Middle East and North Africa Transport Congress and Exhibition held in February, setting the stage for this collaborative effort.
Looking ahead, the RTA plans to update the nol Student Card later this year with enhanced features aimed at further supporting students and their families. One notable addition will allow parents to manage their children's accounts by topping up balances and controlling daily spending, thus providing a comprehensive package of benefits tailored to the needs of students and their families.
This initiative not only supports students financially but also encourages them to utilize public transport and engage with various retail outlets, fostering a sense of community and connectivity within Dubai.
