Dubai's Crown Prince introduced a fresh logo for the Government of Dubai during the inaugural meeting of the executive council post its recent reconstitution. The directive was issued for the immediate adoption of the new logo across all government entities in Dubai. While embracing the new logo, each entity will maintain its unique logo to preserve its individual identity. A six-month transition period was granted for the implementation of the new logo.
Moreover, the Crown Prince allocated Dh40 billion for the 'Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership' for the period of 2024-2026. Additionally, the approval was granted for Dubai's 'Affordable Housing Policy' and the 'Dubai Sandbox' project aimed at supporting 100 tech ventures initially.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, emphasized that the new logo reflects the emirate's forward-thinking leadership, its transformative journey, and its evolution into a futuristic city. He stressed that the government's identity transcends the logo, embodying dedicated teams committed to delivering excellence and efficiency in service.
The Dh40 billion allocated for the 'Dubai Portfolio for Public-Private Partnership' aligns with the objectives outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, aimed at increasing government spending, private sector investment, and foreign direct investment by 2033.
Furthermore, the 'Affordable Housing Policy' is in line with Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan, focusing on creating vibrant communities, providing diverse job opportunities, and addressing housing needs across various income levels. The involvement of multiple entities, such as Dubai Municipality and the Roads and Transport Authority, underscores the comprehensive approach towards housing development.
Additionally, the 'Dubai Sandbox' project seeks to accelerate the growth of start-ups, particularly in technology and emerging sectors, fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem and facilitating access to funding. As part of the ambitious D33 agenda, the project aims to position Dubai as a global innovation hub, driving growth in areas like artificial intelligence, real estate technology, and green technologies to tackle climate change.
