Get ready to pedal your way through the heart of Dubai with the much-anticipated return of Dubai Ride, presented by DP World, on Sunday, November 10. This exciting event follows last year's remarkable turnout of over 35,000 participants and promises an even bigger and better experience in 2024.
Dubai’s iconic Sheikh Zayed Road will once again transform into a sprawling cycle track, allowing riders to enjoy traffic-free routes past some of the city’s most famous landmarks. This year, Dubai Ride is part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) calendar and features two distinct cycling routes, along with the brand-new Dubai Ride Speed Laps for those looking for an extra thrill.

The event caters to all cycling enthusiasts, offering a family-friendly 4km route through Downtown Dubai. This scenic ride will begin at 6:15 AM from Dubai Mall and will take cyclists along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, with views of notable sites like the Dubai Opera and Burj Khalifa. For more experienced cyclists seeking a challenge, the event also features a 12km course that takes participants along Sheikh Zayed Road, passing key attractions such as the Museum of the Future and Dubai Canal. This route will also commence at 6:15 AM and will be accessible from five starting points: Museum of the Future (MOTF), Al Satwa, the Coca-Cola Arena, Business Bay, and the Lower Financial Centre.
A new highlight of this year’s event is the Dubai Ride Speed Laps, which allows experienced cyclists over 21 years old to test their speed on Sheikh Zayed Road at an average pace of 30km/h. This exhilarating lap will take place from 5 AM to 6 AM and is perfect for those looking to challenge themselves before the main event. Participants must maintain the required speed, ride a suitable bike, and have peloton riding experience while adhering to the instructions of the Dubai Ride Marshals.
To ensure that every participant has a smooth experience, Decathlon will provide repair stations throughout the event where riders can stop for quick bike fixes if necessary. Additionally, registered participants can take advantage of free bike repairs at any Decathlon store in Dubai until early November.
No matter which route you choose, participants can expect breathtaking cityscapes and unforgettable memories. Registration for both the Dubai Ride and the Dubai Speed Laps is separate, and participants can sign up for free at [www.dubairide.com](http://www.dubairide.com) to secure their spot in this epic cycling adventure alongside friends, family, and fellow cycling enthusiasts. Once registered, cyclists will receive a QR code for event bib collection, which will be available at the Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village until Saturday, November 9. Participants can collect their bibs at designated times throughout the week. Remember, it’s essential to bring your own bike, helmet, and water bottle for a safe and enjoyable ride.
The Dubai Ride 2024 is presented by DP World, with support from Association Partners including The Brain & Performance Centre (a DP World Company), Decathlon, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), talabat, and Emaar. Official Partners include Dubai Chambers, Emirates, and Mai Dubai, while Government Partners consist of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dubai Police, and the Events Security Committee.
