Mona Al Marri, the Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council, met with Linda Yaccarino, who is the CEO of X Corp. The meeting was about finding ways to work together in the future. This meeting follows the directions of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. The goal is to create stronger connections with big digital media companies and make Dubai a leader in the digital world.
The meeting also supports Dubai’s plan called Economic Agenda D33, which aims to make Dubai one of the top cities for the digital economy. During the meeting, Mona Al Marri talked about how Dubai has many important media and technology companies. She also talked about how important it is to work closely with X Corp., which opened its first office in Dubai in 2015.
Mona Al Marri said, “We are always looking to make stronger partnerships with global tech leaders. We want to use media and digital platforms to help influencers and create content that connects with people around the world.”

The meeting also discussed how to improve media quality and help develop skills in the region. They talked about how to share ideas, work together on training programs, and teach digital skills. This would help create jobs and support Emirati talent in the media industry.

The meeting was also attended by Nehal Badri, the Secretary-General of the Dubai Media Council, and Mohammed Al Mulla, the CEO of Dubai Media Incorporated. They helped guide the meeting and focused on building stronger connections between Dubai and X Corp.
