Have you ever wanted to enjoy a big Indian wedding without all the stress, drama, or family pressure? In Dubai, your wish has come true. A company there is organising fake sangeet parties where people can dance, eat, and have fun like at a real wedding – but with no bride, no groom, and no family problems.
Recently, one such event called Farzi Sangeet happened in Dubai. Many Indians living there came together to dance to Bollywood songs, eat tasty Indian food, and enjoy themselves. Instagram influencer Safia showed her followers what was happening at the party. She said, “Have you ever wanted to go to an Indian wedding without all the drama and without needing an invite? This is it.”

At the Farzi Sangeet, there were food stalls, DJs playing music, photo booths, henna tattoo artists, glitter art, and other fun surprises. There was even a fake bride squad and groom squad, but no real wedding took place.
People who attended loved the idea. One person commented, “This is great! We have been doing fake dholki parties for years – just dress up and enjoy without anyone really getting married.” Another said, “Looks fun. I want to experience this too.”
The ticket for this fake sangeet costs around 131 AED, which is about ₹3,000 for one person. The next event will happen on July 25. The event is organised by Showoff Entertainment. They say the party has “No relatives, no drama, no commitment, and no stress.”
Anyone can join the fake sangeet, but only people above 21 years old can drink alcohol there.
