Dubai Airports has said that eight flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to London Heathrow (LHR) and one flight from Heathrow to Dubai have been cancelled. This happened because Heathrow Airport was closed for some time.
Dubai Airports said they are working with airlines and service teams to help passengers. They asked travelers to contact their airlines for the latest flight updates and to rebook their tickets if needed.

On Friday, March 21, both Emirates Airline and Etihad Airways said they had stopped some flights due to the Heathrow closure. Emirates said that flights EK001/002, EK029/030, and EK031/032 were cancelled.
Etihad Airways also stopped flights between Abu Dhabi and Heathrow. These flights were cancelled:
EY63 (Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow)
EY64 (London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi)
EY65 (Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow)
EY66 (London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi)
Passengers with tickets on these flights should check with their airlines for new travel plans. The temporary closure of Heathrow caused many flight problems. Airlines are now helping passengers by rescheduling flights and offering new booking options.
Dubai Airports and airlines have said they will try to reduce trouble for travelers and support them with new travel plans. Passengers are advised to stay updated by checking their airline’s website or calling customer service.
