Dubai International Airport has been crowned the "most luxurious" airport in the world, as declared by travel experts All Clear Travel Insurance. The accolade comes after an extensive evaluation of over 1,800 airports worldwide.
Dubai clinched the top spot due to its array of lavish amenities, including zen gardens, five-star hotels, a swimming pool, a movie theater, and upscale dining options. With an annual transit of 90 million passengers, Dubai International Airport provides travelers with a luxurious start to their layovers.

Following closely behind in third place is Qatar's Hamad International Airport, known for its striking architectural design resembling a wave. The airport boasts an aquatic theme throughout its interiors, with water features symbolizing the gentle waves of the Arabian Gulf.
To determine the rankings, a minimum of ten passenger lounges at each airport were considered, along with criteria such as the availability of designer stores, proximity to four- and five-star hotels, and upscale dining options. Each airport was assigned a score based on these factors.
Other notable airports in the top 20 include London Heathrow Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, and Singapore Changi Airport. The rankings highlight the opulence and luxury offered by airports around the world, making them more than just transit hubs but destinations in their own right.
