DFM Adds AI Tools to iVestor App for Smarter Investment Access

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has brought in two new smart features to its iVestor phone app. These tools are made to help people understand company news and money matters in a quicker and easier way.

These changes are part of DFM’s plan to make investing simple, modern, and open for everyone. Now, through the iVestor app, people can buy and sell DFM shares right from their phones without any trouble.

The new tools were shared with the public during the 3rd MENA Capital Market Summit, held on 6 and 7 May at Madinat Jumeirah.

The first new tool is called Smart Disclosures. It reads long company notices and then shows a short version that tells the main things investors should know.

The second tool is called Financial Summary. It gives a small and clear picture of how well a company is doing, using easy words and key numbers like money earned, total profit, and how much one share is worth.

These tools are meant to save time and make life easier for investors. Many people, especially those who are new or young, find it hard to read long financial papers. These new tools are here to fix that and make investing less scary and more open.

Hamed Ali, the boss of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, said, “All around the world, people want simple ways to invest. We want to break down the walls and make sure everyone can join and feel sure about it. These tools are part of that plan.”

Earlier in 2024, DFM changed iVestor from an app only for getting dividends into a full app for many uses. Now, the app lets people sign up for IPOs, check private deals through Arena, watch their own shares, move money, and follow the market.

Today, iVestor is one of the most used ways to reach Dubai’s stock market, with over 240,000 people from more than 100 countries using it. With these new features, DFM shows it is still working hard to make investing smooth and helpful for all.
