CABSAT 2024 Day 2 Unveils Game-Changing Trends in Media and Entertainment

The second day of CABSAT 2024, the Middle East's premier event for content, broadcast, satellite, media, and entertainment sectors, showcased pioneering solutions, technologies, and concepts revolutionizing the industry. Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event witnessed a special visit from ZHU Yonglei, Vice Minister of the National Radio and Television Administration of P.R. China (NRTA).

Expected to draw over 18,000 visitors across three days, CABSAT 2024 caters to a diverse audience, from Engineers, System Integrators, and Broadcasters to Content Buyers, Sellers, Producers, and Distributors. Attendees immersed themselves in insightful discussions on the latest industry developments and opportunities.

Highlighting its 30th anniversary edition, CABSAT 2024 assembled an impressive lineup of speakers for its conference events, including the Content Congress and SATExpo Summit. These sessions provided invaluable insights into cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of media and entertainment.

The SATExpo Summit on day two garnered significant attention, featuring key influencers in regional and global satellite and space technology sectors. Notable speakers included Jassem Nasser, Chief Business Development Officer of Yahsat; Jan Stoop, VP Business Development, Comtech, USA; Joakim Espeland, CEO, QuadSat, Denmark; and others. Discussions centered on global market trends, future trajectories, and business strategies, particularly in light of AI advancements.

Jassem Nasser, Chief Business Development Officer of Yahsat, expressed delight in participating in the SATExpo Summit, highlighting Yahsat's commitment to innovation within the satellite communications industry.

Joakim Espeland, CEO of QuadSat, Denmark, emphasized the importance of discussions on antenna registration processes, unveiling vital insights into innovations in antenna testing and calibration.

Meanwhile, the Content Congress continued its exploration of trends and ideas shaping content creation, connectivity, and monetization in the media landscape. Grass Valley announced its collaboration with Arabsat, offering innovative broadcast transmission services through the AMPP SaaS platform.

CABSAT 2024 also launched an exclusive Brand Ambassador program, inviting exceptional business leaders to shape the industry's future. The selected ambassadors, including Sanjay Raina, Global Media and Entertainment Executive, and Kabir Khan, Film Director, will foster high-level conversations and drive opportunities in the MENA region.
