The 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2025) kicked off today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This year’s event has attracted over 2,800 exhibitors and more than 55,000 travel professionals from 166 countries. The event has become an important gathering for the global tourism industry, with international exhibitors making up 67% of the total, while the Middle East accounts for the remaining 33%.
Exploring the Theme of Connectivity in Travel
ATM 2025 focuses on the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity.” The event highlights how better connectivity between countries, industries, and communities is shaping the future of tourism. This theme aims to show how connecting the world more efficiently can lead to a sustainable, inclusive, and globally integrated travel industry. There will be discussions on this topic across various parts of the event, including the ATM Conference and other networking sessions.

Danielle Curtis, the exhibition director for the Middle East at ATM, shared her excitement about the event, saying, “ATM 2025 is expected to break records in both attendance and the number of exhibitors. We’re excited to welcome professionals from all sectors of the travel industry, including leisure, business events, luxury, and corporate travel.”
Expanding the Event to Meet Growing Interest
Due to the growing interest in the event, two additional halls have been added this year. The ATM Conference will take place across three stages: the Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage. One of the exciting new additions this year is IBTM@ATM, a dedicated zone for business events. Another highlight is ATM Travel Tech, which showcases how technology is transforming the travel industry.
Asia’s Rapid Growth
Asia has shown impressive growth at ATM this year, with the number of exhibitors from the region rising by 20%. This growth reflects better regional connectivity and stronger links with global markets. ATM will feature a range of Asian destinations, such as Japan, Macao, the Maldives, South Korea, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. India’s participation has grown by 30%, with tourism boards from various regions, such as Goa, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh, attending the event. Airlines like Air India and Air India Express are also showcasing their services.
Visitor Registration and Global Appeal
Over half of the event’s visitors are coming from international markets, with UAE and GCC visitors making up a significant portion. The top five international markets attending ATM 2025 are India, Egypt, the UK, Türkiye, and the USA, showing the event’s global reach.
Philip M. Barnes, CEO of Rotana, noted that Rotana is excited to be the official registration partner for ATM. He explained that the event is a great opportunity for Rotana to showcase the region and its strong industry partnerships.
Technology and Innovation at ATM
ATM Travel Tech is larger than ever this year, with a 23% increase in the number of products being presented. This segment runs alongside ATM and focuses on the latest technology trends that are reshaping the travel and hospitality sectors. One exciting feature is the Start-Up and Innovation Zone, which highlights new travel innovators. For the fourth year in a row, ATM will host the Start-Up Pitch Battle, where the most creative minds in the Middle East will showcase their ideas.
AI and Travel Innovation
On the first day of ATM, Cassie Kozyrkov, CEO of Kozyr and Google’s first chief decision scientist, will lead a session titled “AI adoption: From Buzzwords to Business Strategy.” She will discuss how AI is changing the way businesses operate and how it can be used for the future of travel.
Introducing IBTM@ATM
A new addition to ATM 2025 is IBTM@ATM, a dedicated zone for connecting business event buyers with a variety of exhibitors, including venues, hotels, tourism boards, and airlines. The Business Events Stage will host several sessions during the event to explore ways to grow business events and corporate travel.
Industry Insights and Networking
ATM is not just a networking event, but also a chance to hear from over 200 industry experts. These experts will share their knowledge across three stages: the Global Stage, Future Stage, and Business Events Stage. Some highlights include a session on how global events and festivals contribute to socio-economic growth, featuring speakers from the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and other tourism bodies.
On the Future Stage, experts from Booking.com, dnata Travel Group, and Airbnb will discuss emerging travel trends. The Global Stage will feature speakers from leading hotel brands like Four Seasons, Rotana, and Sabre Hospitality, discussing how hotels are transforming to meet travelers’ needs in the region.
Strategic Partners
ATM 2025 is held in partnership with the Dubai World Trade Centre, with strategic partners including the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism as the Destination Partner, Emirates as the Official Airline Partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as the Official Hotel Partner, and Al Rais Travel as the Official DMC Partner.
This year’s ATM promises to be an exciting event with many opportunities for networking, learning, and discovering new trends shaping the future of global travel.
