Amazon has made a new voice helper named Nova Sonic. This helper listens to what people say and speaks back in a soft, human-like voice. It is better than old voice tools like Alexa and Siri, which sometimes sound stiff or strange.

This new voice helper is very quick and clear. It can hear you even when your voice is low or when there is noise around. It knows when to speak and when to wait, just like people do in a talk.

Amazon said this tool is also cheap to use. It is 80% less cost than some other voice tools. It is also faster—it gives a reply in about 1 second.

People who make apps can add Nova Sonic to their apps. They can use a place called Bedrock to do this.

Nova Sonic also understands many languages, like English, Hindi, French, Spanish, and more. In a test, it got about 96 out of 100 words right. It also works well when many people are talking together.

This new voice helper is already being used in the new Alexa+, which is an upgraded voice helper from Amazon.

A top expert from Amazon named Rohit Prasad said that Nova Sonic is just the beginning. In the future, these voice tools will also understand pictures and videos, not just voice. Amazon also plans to give this voice helper to more app makers to help them build smart things.

Another new voice helper called Nova Act is also coming soon. It will help people with shopping and other daily tasks.
