Akasa Air has announced the launch of a new daily direct flight service between Mumbai and Kuwait City, commencing on August 23. This new route marks Akasa Air's entry into its fifth international destination, just as the airline approaches its two-year anniversary of operations.

The airline's latest expansion is set to enhance connectivity between India and Kuwait, addressing the high demand for both Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) and business travel. The introduction of this daily flight will significantly boost passenger and cargo capacity on this route, catering to the strong and consistent demand for travel between the two cities.

Since its inception on August 7, 2022, Akasa Air has rapidly expanded its network, now serving four international destinations—Doha (Qatar), Jeddah, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Abu Dhabi (UAE)—in addition to its 22 domestic routes across India. The addition of Kuwait City reflects the airline’s strategic focus on strengthening its international presence and offering more choices to travelers.
