Airspace Closure: Govt Working With Airlines, Says Naidu

Post by: Omar Nasser

The Indian government is checking the problem after Pakistan stopped Indian planes from using its sky. Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu said on Monday that they are talking with airlines to find good answers.

This trouble started after a terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people died. After the attack, Pakistan blocked its airspace for Indian flights.

"We are looking at the situation and talking with airlines," Naidu said during an event.

Because Indian planes cannot fly through Pakistan now, many flights from North Indian cities are taking longer routes. This means the flights take more time and cost more money for airlines.

Naidu said the most important thing now is the safety of passengers. "We are focusing on passengers and making sure they are safe," he added.

At the same time, tension is growing on the border. Some leaders are saying that India should take strong action if Pakistan does not listen.

People living near the border are worried. They are quickly cutting their crops and opening bunkers again because they fear more problems.

Even during these hard times, are working day and night to bring true stories to people. But because ads are falling and not many people are paying for news, it is becoming hard for them.
