This agreement creates a plan for both groups to share ideas, skills, and money to support useful projects. ADQ and IFC will look for chances to invest in areas that can help countries grow. Besides farming and healthcare, they will also focus on important things like energy, transport, and buildings. These projects will help countries become stronger, improve people’s lives, and make travel and business easier.
His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, the head of ADQ, said this partnership shows both groups want to create real change in growing countries. He said ADQ and IFC will use their knowledge to bring their businesses into new countries and help build big projects that improve people’s daily lives and help local economies.
Makhtar Diop, the head of IFC, said this agreement shows that big funds like ADQ play a big role in helping growing countries. He also said this partnership highlights how the UAE is leading the way in working with other developing countries to grow together. By using IFC’s global experience and ADQ’s smart investments, the two groups will bring private money into big projects and help growing countries improve in important areas.
ADQ started in 2018 and manages more than 25 companies in over 130 countries. It invests in important areas like energy, transport, food, farming, and healthcare. ADQ has built strong connections with many governments in countries like Egypt, Türkiye, Greece, Oman, and Jordan, helping them develop their economies.
IFC has helped millions of people in growing countries by providing electricity, clean water, and better food supply. It continues to support big projects and partnerships that improve lives and help economies grow.
