ADAFSA Wins Six Global Awards for Innovation & Food Security

Abu Dhabi’s Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has made international headlines by securing six prestigious awards in 2025, highlighting its leadership in agriculture and food security innovation.

The Authority’s efforts were recognized at the globally acclaimed Stevie Awards in the United States, where ADAFSA received two honors. The first, a Bronze Award for New Product of the Year – AI, celebrated its Food and Fodder Import Diversification Platform, a cutting-edge tool that strengthens the sustainability of Abu Dhabi’s food supply chain. The second, a Silver Award for Digital Transformation Leader of the Year, was awarded to Aisha Al Shamsi, Director of Data and Artificial Intelligence, acknowledging her role in advancing ADAFSA’s digital transformation and strategic use of institutional data.

Further acclaim came from the World Business Outlook Awards in Singapore, where ADAFSA won four awards. These included Most Sustainable Agriculture and Food World Developer, Best Community Service Initiative Programme, Top Food Inspection and Monitoring Programme, and Best Digital Transformation in Agriculture and Food Security for the Smart Agricultural Inspection System.
