Mubarak Al Shamisi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, said this is a big step for the city. He said Abu Dhabi is becoming a top place for business events because of its modern buildings, great hotels, and many fun things to do.

Over the years, Abu Dhabi has built many new places for meetings and events, like Qasr Al Watan and Yas Marina Circuit. It has also worked to protect its culture and use new technology to attract more visitors. Because of this, Abu Dhabi was ranked the number one city in the Middle East for hosting business meetings in 2022.

The SITE Global Conference is one of the biggest events in the business travel world. It helps companies learn more about using travel to encourage workers and make businesses stronger.

Annette Gregg, CEO of SITE, said Abu Dhabi is a great place for this event. She said the city has top hotels, big meeting spaces, and exciting cultural spots. She also said the mix of old traditions and new ideas makes Abu Dhabi special.

Many companies use travel to reward employees and business partners. Abu Dhabi is a great place for this because it offers luxury hotels, desert adventures, and delicious food. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) also has special programs to help businesses plan events in the city.

DCT Abu Dhabi will work closely with SITE to make sure the 2026 conference is a success. Hosting this event will help Abu Dhabi become even more popular for big business events, bringing more visitors and helping the city grow.
