Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Center (ADSCC) and Yas Clinic have made history by becoming the first in the UAE to receive a special award from AABB. This award is for collecting a special kind of cell, called Hematopoietic Progenitor Cells (HPC). These cells are important for transplants and helping treat blood problems and diseases.
ADSCC and Yas Clinic are known for their great work in stem cell transplants. They are already recognized by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi and another big health group called FACT. This new award from AABB shows how dedicated they are to giving the best care. In the last 24 months, they have earned three important awards for their work in cell therapy. This shows how serious they are about making sure patients get the best care, using the safest methods.

Prof. Yendry Ventura, the CEO of ADSCC, said, "This award shows our hard work and how we follow the UAE’s plans to improve healthcare. Being the first in the UAE to get this award proves how serious we are about giving the best care. Our hospital has the newest tools and expert doctors, and we will keep setting high standards in patient care."
Dr. Maysoon Al Karam, the Chief Medical Officer at Yas Clinic, said, “This award is thanks to our whole team. From doctors to nurses and technicians, everyone worked hard to make this happen. We are one of only two places in the MENA region to get this special award. This helps our patients and the medical community.”
AABB’s program is known for making sure that health care standards are the best for patients and donors. With this new award, ADSCC and Yas Clinic continue to show how they are leaders in helping patients with new treatments.
