Abu Dhabi will host the first-ever Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW) from 10 to 15 November 2025, bringing together global leaders to shape the future of smart and autonomous mobility. The event will kick off with the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit on 10 November at the Vehicle Dynamic Area, Yas Marina Circuit.

Organised by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, the summit aims to accelerate sustainable transformation in the autonomous systems sector.

“The Smart and Autonomous Systems Council strives to accelerate sustainable transformation in the autonomous systems sector, ensuring their safe and efficient operation so that Abu Dhabi becomes a global model of innovation and an advanced hub leading the field of cutting-edge technologies,” Sheikh Hamdan said.

The summit’s programme will cover key topics, including integrated urban mobility across air, land, and sea; scaling smart mobility in public transport; AI governance and public trust; cross-sector collaboration; urban air mobility; AI-driven decision making; and industrial applications for smart ports and cities. Discussions will also focus on investment, commercialization, and talent development in autonomous technologies.

ADAW will feature several interactive events throughout the week. DRIFTx (10-12 November) will showcase land, sea, air, and robotics solutions in a live exhibition. RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2025, hosted by Khalifa University and held in the MENA region for the first time, will run from 10-15 November, featuring top international AI-driven robotics teams.

The week will conclude with the second edition of the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) on 15 November. Organised by ASPIRE and Abu Dhabi’s Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), the event will demonstrate autonomous racing technology, offering a US$2.25 million prize pool and attracting elite teams from 10 countries.

The inaugural Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week underscores the emirate’s commitment to fostering innovation, collaboration, and efficiency through the safe and sustainable deployment of autonomous systems.
