The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has signed a deal with the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) to help improve business and trade between the UAE and the US. This agreement will support both countries' economies by helping trade and providing financial support like credit and guarantees.
The deal will make it easier to import and export important goods, services, and technology. The main focus will be on areas like energy, minerals, infrastructure, communication, and new technology.

The two groups will work together on clean energy projects, such as green hydrogen and energy storage. They will also help make sure important minerals are available and support new technology in areas like artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and semiconductors. They will also work on building 5G networks and improving transportation.
This agreement will allow both countries to share ideas and knowledge, which will help businesses grow. Special help will be given to small businesses, especially those owned by women.
His Excellency Badr Al-Olama, Director General of ADIO, said, "Abu Dhabi wants to build strong partnerships with other countries to support trade and new ideas. By working with EXIM, we will create great opportunities for businesses in important areas."
Reta Jo Lewis, President of EXIM, said, "EXIM is proud to work with ADIO to improve trade and technology. In 2023, the US sold over $24 billion in goods to the UAE. This deal will help US companies reach more customers in the Middle East through Abu Dhabi. We are excited to work together and bring benefits to both regions."
This agreement will help the UAE and the US grow their trade, create more chances for business, and make both economies stronger in the future.
