There are some people who step into the world like a quiet breeze, but somehow their presence lingers like a timeless fragrance. Tasneem Khamkar is one of those rare souls. In a fast-moving world that often glorifies noise and overlooks the silent givers, she stands as a symbol of healing power and meaningful change. Not one for the spotlight, not a name chasing headlines, Tasneem is far more than that—she is a woman who changed lives, starting with her own.
Her story begins not in adulthood, not in fame or hardship, but in a moment of pure childhood kindness. At just six or seven years old, Tasneem encountered a woman on the roadside, broken in spirit and holding two crying children, desperate for food. Where others walked past, young Tasneem felt the pain. With only 20 dirhams in her hand—her own savings—she walked into a nearby restaurant and bought a meal for the woman and her children. The woman’s gratitude, her tears turning into a smile, and the heartfelt prayers she offered became a defining moment for Tasneem. It wasn’t just charity—it was the awakening of purpose.
“I saw pain. I saw relief. And I decided… this is what I want to do for the rest of my life,” Tasneem recalls. That day didn’t just mark an act of compassion; it marked the birth of her life’s calling. What’s extraordinary is that her story wasn’t shaped by suffering, but by empathy. Her mission came not from personal despair, but from a deep and sincere desire to serve, to uplift, and to make the world around her a kinder place. She believed then—and still believes now—that life is not just about existence, but about impact. “We all have a purpose,” she says. “It’s not just to live — it’s to be useful, to be kind, to be remembered for the right reasons.”
In many ways, Tasneem’s life has become a living embodiment of that belief. At the heart of her message and mission lies her published book, Amelia, released through the esteemed Austin Macauley Publishers, a globally recognized publishing house with offices in the UAE and beyond. But Amelia is not just a book—it is a lifeline. It tells the story of a young girl’s emotional journey through pain, loss, resilience, and self-discovery. Though fictional, the emotions it carries are raw, real, and universal. In just 25 pages, Amelia offers more than many novels do. It captures the trembling steps of someone reclaiming their power, the silent screams of emotional pain, the invisible war of growing up in a world that demands women to shrink, and the quiet bravery it takes to rise anyway.
Tasneem wrote Amelia for every woman who has cried silently behind a closed door, for every girl who has felt invisible, and for anyone who needed a hand and found a book instead. “I made this book for people who have no one around them during their hardest times,” she says. And that’s exactly what Amelia becomes—a companion in pain, a beacon of light in the darkest corners of life, and a reminder that strength is often born in silence.
Her journey does not end with her writing. Tasneem is a Women’s Motivational Counselor, a passionate community worker, and a globally recognized voice of emotional empowerment. She is also an experienced HR & Admin professional, and a Freelance Emiratisation Recruiter with in-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and workplace culture—expertise shaped by a life lived entirely in the UAE. Her professional profile is a rare blend of corporate wisdom and human understanding, making her a strong fit for any organization looking to grow with integrity and heart. Tasneem is now actively seeking opportunities to expand her work and contribute her talents where they can create meaningful growth. She is open to suitable positions where her dynamic personality and versatile skill set can uplift companies and teams to new heights.
Whether in the boardroom or the community, Tasneem brings the same quiet intensity—deep empathy, sincere commitment, and a drive to make a difference. She doesn’t seek validation. She seeks transformation. She doesn’t ask for applause. She asks, “Who can I help next?”
In a world obsessed with appearances, Tasneem brings truth. In a world hungry for attention, she offers presence. She is a voice for the voiceless—the widowed mother, the orphaned girl, the broken-hearted sister, the friend who lost her way. She stands beside them, offering not pity, but power. “It’s still inside you,” she says, and people believe her, because she’s lived it herself.
Tasneem’s story resonates deeply with the very purpose of Voices of UAE by DXB News Network. This initiative was born to showcase stories just like hers—stories of impact, compassion, and courage that don’t always make the headlines but deserve to. Voices of UAE is a platform for the changemakers who lead with heart, and Tasneem is exactly that. Her journey—from a child with 20 dirhams and a heart full of empathy to a woman whose words now travel the globe—is more than inspiring. It is essential. Her book Amelia, her life of quiet service, and her mission to spread hope and kindness make her not just a worthy feature, but a powerful reminder of what true strength looks like.
She is not just a voice among many—she is a beacon. And Voices of UAE is proud to carry her story forward.
If you’ve ever felt like your presence was small, remember Tasneem.
If you’ve ever questioned whether kindness could change the world, remember her 20 dirhams.
And if you’re searching for the courage to begin again, read Amelia.
Because in her story, you may just find the beginning of your own.
