The eighth edition of the Women's Economic Forum, organized by the Eastern Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), is set to take place in Dammam on November 19-20. The event will be held under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, and will carry the theme "Empowering Effective Leadership."

This year’s forum is designed to inspire and promote investment in small projects, aiming to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit of Saudi women and encourage their active participation in business ventures. It will also focus on identifying new financing opportunities for successful ideas and projects within the small-enterprise sector, specifically for women entrepreneurs. The forum's goal is to foster an environment that enhances women's leadership and investment potential, allowing them to contribute more effectively to the economic landscape of Saudi Arabia.

Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza, Chairman of the ECCI Board of Directors, emphasized that this forum would highlight Saudi women’s growing role in leadership, aligning with the nation’s Vision 2030. Vision 2030 aims to increase women's involvement in the workforce, and this forum seeks to reinforce that by showcasing how women in Saudi Arabia are now at the forefront of the country’s scientific, cultural, and economic development. Al-Rizaiza stated that women have become an essential part of the kingdom's progress, making significant contributions across various sectors.

The forum promises to be a landmark event, bringing together a wide range of experts, entrepreneurs, and leaders to share knowledge, explore opportunities, and celebrate the accomplishments of Saudi women in business. Through this gathering, ECCI aims to further empower Saudi women, strengthen their leadership skills, and pave the way for a more inclusive and prosperous future in line with the ambitious goals of Vision 2030.
