A 17-year-old boy from Wisconsin named Nikita Casap has been blamed for killing his mother and stepfather. Police say he did it to get money so he could try to kill former U.S. President Donald Trump and break the U.S. government.

The two people killed were Tatiana Casap, 35 years old, and Donald Mayer, 51 years old. They were found dead at their home near Milwaukee on February 28. Their bodies had been in the house for many days and had started to rot. The police had to use their teeth records to know who they were.
After the killings, Nikita ran away with $14,000 cash, family passports, and even their pet dog. He was caught in Kansas a few weeks later. He is now in jail with a $1 million bond and will go to court next month.
The FBI looked at his things and found scary plans. They say Nikita wrote about wanting to kill President Trump. He also liked Adolf Hitler and wrote about destroying the U.S. government. He bought a flying drone and bombs. He even talked to other people on the internet, including someone who speaks Russian, and said he wanted to run away to Ukraine.
He wrote that by killing his parents, he could get money and freedom to do his big, bad plan. His lawyer said he is still very young and asked to remove some of the charges. The court heard this in March.
Nikita is also facing other troubles like hiding the dead bodies, stealing money, and using someone else’s name to get more money. The police say the parents may have been dead for many days before they were found.
