Meta-owned WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will help users chat with its chatbot, Meta AI, in a more fun and interesting way. This feature will give users different topics to talk about, which are created by AI. It is still being developed and was recently spotted in the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.25.10.9. Right now, beta testers can see signs of this update, but they can't use it yet.
This news comes from WABetaInfo, a popular website that shares updates about WhatsApp features. According to them, the new suggested topics will cover different areas like learning, jokes, and unique ways of talking. There are also screenshots that show how this new design might look. The chat screen will have a Meta AI logo at the top, and just below that, users will see a list of topics they can choose from to start a chat.

One more exciting part of this update is that it might work with another upcoming feature: two-way voice chat with Meta AI. This means users could talk to the AI by voice instead of just typing messages. For example, there could be a category called "Talk like a…" where the AI copies a certain style of speaking, making the conversation more playful. There will also be a "Learn" section to help users have useful chats about educational topics. If someone wants to stop using voice, they can switch back to typing anytime.New WhatsApp feature to suggest AI chat topics like fun, learning, and voice chat with Meta AI. Still in beta, but exciting things ahead
WhatsApp is also planning to add more topic categories in the future to make this feature even better. But for now, there is no exact date for when this feature will be released to everyone.
As Meta keeps improving its AI on different apps, this update could change how people chat with AI bots on messaging platforms like WhatsApp.
