A Celebration of Sustainability and Innovation

WETEX is not just an exhibition; it is a reflection of the UAE’s strong commitment to sustainability, clean energy, and innovation. For more than two decades, this exhibition has highlighted Dubai’s vision of building a future that is powered by renewable energy, smart technologies, and eco-friendly solutions.

The exhibition will focus on many important areas, including:

  • Water and energy solutions

  • Smart cities and green mobility

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation

  • Sustainability and climate-friendly innovations

Through these themes, WETEX shows how Dubai is preparing for a future that balances progress with environmental responsibility.

Statement by DEWA’s CEO

Speaking about the importance of the event, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX, said: “WETEX reflects the UAE's unwavering commitment to sustainability and strengthens Dubai's position as a leading global green economy hub. The exhibition has become one of the world’s top specialised events, giving a platform to showcase the latest clean energy and water innovations. It also helps build partnerships that support global climate goals and the transition to a green economy. Every year, WETEX brings together leaders, investors, innovators, and officials from all over the world to share knowledge, explore opportunities, and work together for a sustainable and resilient future.”

His words reflect how WETEX is more than a gathering — it is a global movement towards a greener tomorrow.

Why WETEX Matters

WETEX is known as one of the most important platforms for governments, private companies, and investors to come together. It provides a stage where experts can:

  • Share the latest research and technologies

  • Build partnerships across industries

  • Explore new investment opportunities

  • Cooperate on projects that tackle climate change

The exhibition also opens doors for international companies that wish to enter new markets and expand their businesses in one of the world’s most promising green economies. Dubai, with its strong infrastructure and future-focused vision, offers a perfect environment for such growth.

A History of Growth and Success

Since its launch, WETEX has grown rapidly and become a truly international event. The 2024 edition welcomed:

  • 50,598 visitors

  • More than 2,800 exhibitors

  • 65 countries participating

  • 21 international pavilions

These numbers highlight the global trust and recognition WETEX has earned. Each year, the exhibition becomes bigger, stronger, and more influential. The 2025 edition is expected to be even larger, offering greater access to global markets and encouraging cross-border cooperation.

What to Expect in WETEX 2025

The 27th edition will not only showcase new technologies but will also provide workshops, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions. These discussions will cover:

  • Clean and renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power

  • The future of electric vehicles and green transport

  • Advanced digital technologies like AI, blockchain, and smart grids

  • Ways to manage water resources more efficiently

  • Innovative methods to reduce carbon footprints

By focusing on these areas, WETEX ensures that both current and future challenges in sustainability are addressed.

A Platform for Partnerships and Investments

One of the biggest strengths of WETEX is its ability to connect people. From government officials and policymakers to scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors, the exhibition creates an environment where ideas turn into real-world projects.

Companies that join WETEX often find opportunities to:

  • Form strategic partnerships

  • Sign investment deals

  • Enter new markets

  • Showcase their products to a global audience

This makes WETEX not just an exhibition, but also a launchpad for international success.

Dubai’s Global Green Vision

The UAE, and especially Dubai, has always aimed to be a leader in clean energy and sustainability. WETEX is a key part of this journey. With projects like the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the city has already proven its commitment to renewable energy.

Through WETEX, Dubai continues to build its reputation as a global hub for green technology and smart solutions, attracting innovators from every corner of the world.

The Bigger Picture: Climate Change and the Future

The world today faces many challenges because of climate change, pollution, and rising energy demands. Events like WETEX help countries and companies come together to find solutions.

By promoting clean energy, WETEX contributes to reducing global carbon emissions, improving water security, and encouraging eco-friendly lifestyles. This is not only important for the UAE but also for the entire planet.

As WETEX 2025 approaches, excitement continues to grow. With thousands of expected visitors and exhibitors, the event promises to set new records. It will be a place where the future of sustainability is shaped, and where global leaders work together for a better tomorrow.

For Dubai, WETEX is more than just an exhibition; it is a symbol of its unshakable belief in innovation, collaboration, and a sustainable future.

The 27th edition of WETEX is set to be a landmark event that reflects Dubai’s vision for a green economy. By bringing together leaders, innovators, and investors from across the globe, it will strengthen international partnerships and accelerate progress towards a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable world.

From 30 September to 2 October 2025, the Dubai World Trade Centre will not only host an exhibition but also a global dialogue on the future of our planet.

WETEX stands as a reminder that together, through innovation and cooperation, humanity can build a brighter and greener tomorrow.
