The "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign has successfully collected a remarkable total of 450 tonnes of relief material, with 200 tonnes gathered from the public in Dubai and 250 tonnes in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. This significant effort was organized by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC), with over 4,400 volunteers from diverse nationalities coming together to pack 10,000 baskets filled with essential supplies.
Since the campaign's inception on October 4, the UAE has taken decisive action to support Lebanon by dispatching nine aircraft carrying 375 tonnes of critical food, relief, and shelter supplies. Additional flights are planned for this week to further aid those in need.
In a demonstration of commitment, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the immediate allocation of $100 million (AED 367 million) to assist Lebanon, along with an additional $30 million (AED 110.1 million) dedicated to supporting Lebanese refugees in Syria.

Sultan Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organizations, highlighted the solidarity of the UAE's society with the Lebanese population. He stated, "The 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign affirms our unwavering support for the Lebanese people and underscores our commitment to continuously provide relief to those in need, including the injured and wounded. This national campaign conveys a powerful message of hope and solidarity with Lebanon during these trying times."
