UAE Leaders Congratulate Morocco on Arab Cup 2025 Triumph

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led a wave of congratulatory messages to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI after the Moroccan national team secured the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 title in Qatar on Thursday. The victory marked a proud moment for Moroccan football, closing the tournament with a highly anticipated final against Jordan.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed applauded the decisive performance of the Moroccan squad and commended the Jordanian team for their determination throughout the championship. He noted that both sides competed with “excellence and pride,” showcasing the strong talent and sporting spirit present across the region.

The President also took a moment to recognise Qatar’s successful hosting of the tournament. He highlighted the country’s organisational efforts, praising its ability to deliver a memorable edition of the Arab Cup and provide a vibrant setting for teams and fans alike.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also extended his congratulations. In his message, he described the final match as “distinguished,” reflecting the high standards and competitive energy demonstrated on the field.

Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, commended Morocco’s victory while acknowledging Jordan’s commendable campaign. He emphasised the “honourable performance and competitive spirit” displayed by both teams in the final showdown.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, also celebrated Morocco’s championship victory. He praised the champions’ efforts and expressed appreciation to Qatar for delivering what he described as exceptional organisation and hosting standards throughout the tournament.

Morocco’s win adds to its growing legacy in regional football, while the Jordanian side earned respect for reaching the final and competing with determination until the last moment.
