The UAE field hospital in Gaza has welcomed a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) to review the medical services being provided to Palestinian patients.
The visit aimed to assess the quality of healthcare support and highlight the UAE’s ongoing efforts to assist Gaza’s health sector. Hospitals across the territory are currently facing severe shortages of medicines, equipment, and essential supplies due to the continuing humanitarian crisis.
During the visit, officials at the UAE field hospital handed over essential medicines and medical supplies to help strengthen the capacity of Palestinian hospitals. The support is intended to ensure that medical facilities across all governorates can continue delivering critical and life-saving treatment to patients.
The UAE’s assistance forms part of its broader humanitarian efforts to ease pressure on Gaza’s healthcare system. With hospitals operating under extremely challenging conditions, the additional medical support is expected to improve patient care and help sustain essential health services throughout the region.
