On November 21, 2025, US President Donald Trump reignited his long-running feud with late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel. Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, calling Kimmel “a man with no talent and very poor television ratings” and demanded that he be removed from the air. The post came shortly after the East Coast broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Trump’s attack is not the first time he has publicly criticized the talk show host. Their clash dates back several years, with Trump frequently commenting on Kimmel’s shows, while Kimmel has openly mocked Trump’s policies, personal life, and controversies during his monologues.

Kimmel responded to the latest criticism during his Thursday night show with his characteristic wit. He highlighted Trump’s low approval ratings and sarcastically praised the President for watching the show live instead of online, saying, “Hi, Mr. President, thanks for keeping us on the air… ironically, viewers like you keep the show running.”

He also poked fun at Trump’s previous actions, including a brief suspension of his show in September, following Kimmel’s remarks on the assassination of right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk. Trump had celebrated the suspension, calling Kimmel “ratings-challenged” and congratulating the network for the decision. However, the suspension was lifted within a week after public backlash.

During the monologue, Kimmel humorously addressed Trump’s recent public outburst against a Bloomberg reporter regarding the release of Epstein files, referencing Trump’s “quiet, Piggy” comment. Kimmel joked, “We’ll be a team. Let’s ride off into the sunset together… and until then, quiet, Piggy!” He ended the segment with a playful message to Trump: “I’ll go when you go,” signaling that he has no intention of leaving the show voluntarily.

Kimmel’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, and he has not yet confirmed whether he will continue hosting. The ongoing feud between Trump and Kimmel continues to attract attention, with social media amplifying their public exchanges.

This latest episode demonstrates the continued tension between the former US President and the late-night host, highlighting the intersection of politics, entertainment, and media influence in American culture.
