Trump Warns Iran of Military Action Amid Rising Protests

US President Donald Trump on Friday issued a strong warning to Iran, saying the country is facing serious trouble as large-scale protests continue to spread across several cities.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said the protests have reached areas that were considered unlikely just weeks ago. He said the situation shows that the Iranian people are pushing back strongly against their leaders.

“Iran’s in big trouble,” Trump said. “It looks to me that the people are taking over certain cities that nobody thought were really possible just a few weeks ago.”

When asked about his message to Iran’s leadership, Trump warned against the use of force on protesters. He said the United States would respond if Iranian authorities begin shooting people.

“You better not start shooting because we’ll start shooting too,” he said.

Trump added that if Iran’s leadership starts killing protesters, as he claimed has happened in the past, the US would step in. However, he clarified that this would not involve sending ground troops.

“That doesn’t mean boots on the ground,” Trump said, “but it means hitting them very, very hard where it hurts.”

The remarks come as Iran continues to face widespread unrest, with demonstrations challenging the country’s leadership and drawing international attention.
