Three Indians Killed in Brampton Accident Tragedy

In a heart-wrenching incident within Brampton's Greater Toronto Area (GTA), three young males from India have been identified as victims in a tragic accident occurring in the early hours of Thursday, approximately at 1:30 am. The unfortunate incident took place in Brampton, where the three individuals—Reetik Chhabra (23), his younger brother Rohan Chhabra (22), and their friend Gaurav Fasge (24)—lost their lives.

Peel Regional Police (PRP) responded to the scene, discovering the lifeless bodies of the three young men who were pronounced deceased on-site. Initial information indicated the possibility of a second vehicle's involvement, prompting a police investigation. Subsequently, authorities located the second vehicle and took its presumed driver into custody, awaiting charges related to the crash.

The preliminary details revealed that "high speed" and a potential collision with another vehicle played a role in the tragic incident. The Chhabra brothers, recent graduates from Seneca College, shared a residence with their friend Fasge in Brampton. All three were employed at Savarg Beauty Salon in the town, where owner Tirath Gill expressed deep devastation at the loss, describing them as family. The Chhabra brothers, particularly Reetik, were celebrating a birthday along with Fasge on the fateful night, making the tragedy even more poignant.

Originally hailing from Chandigarh (Chhabra brothers) and Pune (Fasge), the trio likely encountered the accident near their residence while returning home after a late-night dinner. The vehicle they were in, a Volkswagen Jetta, collided with a pole, leading to the unfortunate loss of their lives.

Tirath Gill shared the deep bond he had with the Chabbra brothers, stating, "I’m so sad. They were like my family. We worked together every week for forty hours."

Friends of the victims initiated an online fundraiser to gather funds for repatriating Fasge's remains to India and covering the funeral expenses for the Chhabra brothers. This devastating incident has left the community in grief, emphasizing the need for support during these challenging times
