TECOM Group PJSC has marked a major milestone in its sustainability journey, with 55% of the gross leasable area (GLA) across its commercial portfolio now LEED-certified. The latest recognition comes after the Group received 12 new certifications from the US Green Building Council (USGBC) in the first half of 2025, reinforcing its commitment to environmentally responsible development.

LEED certifications are awarded to buildings that meet strict performance standards across multiple sustainability parameters, including energy efficiency, carbon footprint, water conservation, waste management, transportation, material selection, indoor environmental quality, and occupant health.

With these recent achievements, TECOM Group now counts 55 LEED-certified office buildings across Dubai, reflecting its alignment with global sustainability standards and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The certifications highlight the Group’s strategy of creating environmentally responsible and high-performing workspaces that attract global investors and innovative businesses.

The certified buildings cover major business districts, including Dubai Internet City, which secured six LEED recognitions for key buildings such as Phase 2 of the Innovation Hub and in5 Tech’s centre. Dubai Production City and Dubai Design District (d3) also received certifications for in5 Media’s and in5 Design’s facilities, while four office buildings in Dubai Industrial City were recognized for their sustainable design.

TECOM Group’s sustainability drive extends beyond certifications. Its Energy Retrofit Project, recently honored by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, delivered annual energy savings of 11.8% over the past two years. These efforts contribute not only to environmental protection but also to operational efficiency and value creation for tenants and stakeholders.

The Group’s commercial portfolio spans 10 business districts in Dubai, hosting over 12,200 customers and 137,000 professionals. Occupancy for its commercial and industrial properties reached 95% in H1 2025, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 3%. Financially, TECOM Group reported a net profit of AED 737 million (+22% YoY) and revenue of AED 1.4 billion (+21% YoY) in the same period, demonstrating that sustainable operations and business growth can progress hand in hand.

The expanding LEED-certified portfolio emphasizes TECOM Group’s vision to provide environmentally conscious, state-of-the-art workspaces that not only foster business excellence but also support long-term sustainable urban development in Dubai.
