Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced its squad for the upcoming two-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe, which will take place in Harare at the end of this month. The team, led by Charith Asalanka, includes a mix of experienced players and young talents, giving fans plenty of reasons to be excited.

Series Details

The ODI series will begin on August 29, with the second match scheduled two days later, on August 31. Both matches will be played in Harare, Zimbabwe. After completing the ODI series, Sri Lanka will also participate in a three-match T20 international series against Zimbabwe, although the squad for the T20s has not yet been announced.

Sri Lanka last toured Zimbabwe for a limited-overs series in November 2008, which makes this tour an important opportunity for both teams to compete after a long gap. Following the Zimbabwe tour, the Sri Lankan team will head to the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament, beginning on September 9.
