Sheikha Latifa Meets Lebanese Ministers to Strengthen Culture

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, recently met with two important leaders from Lebanon. They were His Excellency Dr. Ghassan Salamé, the Minister of Culture of Lebanon, and His Excellency Dr. Paul Morcos, the Minister of Information. This meeting took place during the Arab Media Summit.

The Arab Media Summit is an important event held under the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai. The summit is organized by the Dubai Press Club and was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre until May 28.

During their meeting, they talked about the strong cultural connection between the UAE and Lebanon. They also discussed how both countries want to work together more closely in many areas. These areas include culture, protecting heritage, the arts, and media. They explored ways to help young talents grow and to support creative industries. Their goal is to help the future generations and to protect the rich culture of the region.

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa said that talking about culture is very important. It helps people understand each other better and supports the idea of diversity. She believes that diversity is a key part of making the Arab world develop in a strong and lasting way.

The meeting was also attended by Her Excellency Mona Ghanem Al Marri. She is the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, the President of the Dubai Press Club, and the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the Arab Media Summit. Another important person at the meeting was Dr. Maitha Buhumaid. She is the Secretary General of the Arab Media Award and also a Vice Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the Arab Media Summit.

In short, the meeting showed the strong friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Lebanon in culture and media, and their shared hope to work together for a bright future.
