Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, visited Washington DC and met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his working trip to the United States.
During their meeting, both leaders spoke about how the UAE and the US can work more closely together in many important areas. They discussed cooperation in business, science, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence, aiming to create more opportunities for growth in both countries.
They also talked about the recent visit of US President Donald Trump to the UAE in May. Both sides agreed that the visit showed how strong the friendship is between the two nations. They said they are committed to building on this visit to grow their partnership even more.

Sheikh Abdullah spoke highly of the strong bond between the UAE and the US, calling the US a key partner. He said the UAE is ready to work hand-in-hand with the US to bring more progress, prosperity, and development for both nations and their people.
The two leaders also discussed recent happenings in the region. Sheikh Abdullah shared the UAE’s strong interest in working with the US and other global partners to support peace and stability. He also stressed the importance of spreading values like understanding, tolerance, and living peacefully together.
