The Energy Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, told everyone about the find. He said the oil company, Saudi Aramco, found these oil and gas spots. This company is owned by the government.
Saudi Aramco found six new oil fields. These are places where oil comes from under the ground. They also found two oil storage places underground, called reservoirs. The company also found two gas fields and four gas reservoirs. These are places where natural gas is kept under the ground.
From the oil fields and reservoirs, Saudi Arabia can get 8,126 barrels of oil every day. The oil has different types. Some oil is light, some is heavy. The gas fields and reservoirs can give 82.06 million cubic feet of gas each day. This is a lot of gas.
The minister said these new finds are very important. He said they help Saudi Arabia stay strong in the world oil and gas market. He also said it helps the country have enough oil and gas for its people and still send some to other countries.
These new oil and gas finds show that Saudi Arabia still has many rich energy places under the ground. The country wants to keep growing and helping other countries by giving them energy too.
