The grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 took place on 23 November, revealing one of the most awaited results of the year. After a power-packed competition, Susanthica was declared the winner, lifting the prestigious title after impressing both the judges and the audience.
Her emotional and soulful performances stood out throughout the show, with her finale renditions leaving a strong impact on viewers. The season featured six finalists — Sreehari Raveendran, Susanthica, Sapesan, Chinnu Senthamilan, Pavithra, and Shivani — making the final round extremely competitive.
Folk specialist Sapesan finished as the first runner-up, while Chinnu Senthamilan, known for energetic performances, took the second runner-up position. Pavithra earned the title of People’s Favourite for her consistent popularity among viewers.
According to reports, the winner received around ₹15 lakh in cash, while a leading developer gifted her a new home. Beyond the prize money, the title also brings opportunities such as music album projects, concert tours, stage shows, TV appearances, and brand partnerships.
The season premiered on 24 May 2025 and ran for several months with memorable performances and emotional moments. The finale aired live from 5 PM, with the winner announcement made at around 11 PM.
This season stood out because it showcased talents above the age of 35, giving mature singers a platform to shine. The judging panel included Shweta Mohan and SP Charan, along with returning favourites Srinivas, Vijay Prakash, Saindhavi, and Karthik. Each finalist brought something unique, making the finale a celebration of diverse musical talent.
