Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has opened a new branch in Hatta to help people living in Hatta and nearby areas with driver training and licensing services. This new branch makes it easier for residents to access important services without traveling all the way to Dubai or other Emirates.

This new centre was set up with the help of Emirates Driving Institute. It is part of RTA’s plan to improve public services and work closely with private companies to make life easier for everyone.

Ahmed Mahboob, who is the CEO of RTA’s Licensing Agency, said that the new branch shows how much RTA cares about the needs of people in local communities. He explained that earlier, people had to travel long distances to get a driving licence, but now they can get these services closer to home.

The Hatta branch offers many services. People can open a traffic file, take theory and driving lessons, and sit for both the theory and driving tests. The centre also issues driving licences for motorcycles and light vehicles—both manual and automatic types.

This is now the 27th RTA-approved driving centre in Dubai. It adds to the network of centres that help train new drivers and make roads safer. It also supports the Dubai Government’s vision to develop Hatta and make it a great place for both residents and visitors.

The centre is open from Sunday to Friday, between 8:15 in the morning and 11:00 at night. On Fridays, it closes for prayer from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and there’s also a daily break from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. On Saturdays, people can visit the centre only for registration, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

With this new branch, RTA hopes to improve life in Hatta by making driving services easier and faster to reach.
