Dembélé, Bonmatí Shine at 16th GLOBE SOCCER Awards Dubai

Dubai, UAE – December 29, 2025: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the 16th BEYOND Developments GLOBE SOCCER Awards, held at Atlantis The Royal in Dubai, celebrating the global football elite.

Top Players Honoured:

French forward Ousmane Dembélé of PSG won Best Men’s Player for the first time, while Barcelona’s midfielder Aitana Bonmatí made history as Best Women’s Player for a record third consecutive year.

Club & Individual Awards:

• Best Men’s Club: PSG, after a stellar year including UEFA Champions League, Super Cup, Ligue 1, and Coupe de France victories.

• Best Women’s Club: FC Barcelona.

• Other winners: Luis Enrique (Best Coach), Vitinha (Best Midfielder), Désiré Doué (Emerging Player), Luis Campos (Best Sporting Director), and Nasser Al-Khelaïfi (Best President).

Rising Stars & Special Honours:

Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal (18) won Best Forward and the Maradona Award. Career awards went to legends Andrés Iniesta and Hidetoshi Nakata, while a special tribute honoured the late Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
