During the meeting, Madbouli emphasized the necessity of establishing a clear timeframe for addressing and responding to complaints, ensuring that citizens receive timely feedback on their concerns. He noted that the complaints mechanism has evolved into one of the most essential tools for fostering communication with citizens, highlighting the importance of actively following up on complaints and resolving the issues raised.
The prime minister also pointed out that the mechanism is equipped to handle complaints submitted by citizens through various channels, including social media and traditional media outlets such as radio and television. This flexibility allows the government to address concerns even if they are not formally submitted through the established complaints system.
Expressing gratitude to the members of the complaints mechanism for their dedication to helping the public, Madbouli reaffirmed his commitment to monitoring the mechanism's effectiveness. He revealed that he receives weekly and monthly reports on its operations, underscoring his focus on ensuring that citizens' voices are heard and their problems are resolved efficiently.
Through these initiatives, the Egyptian government aims to strengthen accountability among officials and enhance its responsiveness to the needs of its citizens.
