More than 100 Air India passengers have been stuck in Phuket, Thailand, for over 80 hours since November 16. Their flight, AI 377, was supposed to leave at 5:50 pm for Delhi, but it kept getting delayed and then was canceled because of problems with the plane.

Many passengers shared their frustration on social media. One passenger wrote, “More than 100 passengers are stuck in Phuket because of bad service from @airindia. Some babies and people miss important appointments. Flight AI 377 was delayed and then canceled.”

Other passengers said they missed their trains and taxis because of the cancellation. One person posted, “This is a terrible situation. I lost my train and taxi because of the canceled flight. Why should passengers suffer because of the airline’s mistake?”

Some passengers said they boarded a plane after waiting for hours but had to get off because the plane was still not safe. They said the pilot told them the plane wasn’t fit to fly, but it was still allowed to take off, putting everyone at risk.

“The plane was not safe to fly. How can they let over 150 people fly on a plane that’s not ready? The pilot said it wasn’t safe, but it still took off,” said one passenger.

Many passengers were upset because Air India did not give clear information. One posted, “This is the worst airline. We’ve been stuck in Phuket for three days, and no one is talking to us. What a shame!”

Air India later responded by saying they were sorry for the problems and tried to help passengers. They said, “We regret the inconvenience to passengers on Flight AI 377. The flight was canceled because of a technical issue. Our staff worked hard to help, offering food, hotel stays, and new flights.”

The airline said they would give passengers full refunds if they wanted and help them reschedule their flights for free. They also said, “The safety of our passengers and crew is our priority.”

Some passengers asked for refunds so they could make other travel plans. “I’ve been stuck in Phuket for over two days. Please give me my money back so I can go home,” wrote one passenger.

Air India replied to some posts, saying, “We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience. Many things can cause flight delays. We are looking into it and hope you understand.”

Even though the airline promised help and refunds, many passengers were still unhappy about the delays and lack of communication.
