The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly criticized the decision of the Israeli government to build more settlements in the Golan Heights, which are lands that are under occupation.

In a statement released on Sunday, the MWL called on countries around the world to speak against this action and to take steps to stop it. They said these actions by Israel harm the chances of the Syrian people finding peace and stability after many years of suffering and hardship.
